Bullet Train Has No Business Plan!

We'd like to make it clear that Families Protecting the Valley has nothing against trains.  None of us ever got hit by a train or had a bad experience.  We'd love to see a train system that made sense.  The problem is that there isn't a day that goes by where we don't see negative stories about the proposed Bullet Train in California.  The latest is a video interview with State Treasurer Bill Lockyer, who is a supporter of the train, but is also the one who has to sell the bonds that the High Speed Rail Initiative authorized.  He is very candid in the interview about the lack of a business plan for the train.  He goes so far as to say that high speed rail lacks a "disciplined, genuine business plan" and "it looks like they don't know what they're doing."  It's difficult to disagree.  You'll need to watch a short commercial prior to his interview.
