Families Protecting the Valley Board Member Kole Upton and Executive Director John Broeske will take part in two different drought discussions today and tomorrow in Fresno. Kole upton is on the panel of a Town Hall Meeting hosted by KMJ Radio and KMPH 26 TV tonight, while John Broeske will moderate a discussion hosted by Assemblyman Jim Patterson tomorrow. The details and participants are outlined below and people are encouraged to attend both events.
Assemblyman Patterson to Hold Drought Discussion with Local Water Officials and Farmers
FRESNO - Assemblyman Jim Patterson and local water experts will discuss concerns about Governor Brown’s drought action plan and its impact from the faucet to the farm at “The truth about the drought -An honest discussion about water.”
Executive Director of Families Protecting the Valley, John Broeske will moderate the panel discussion which will feature Assemblyman Patterson, Mario Santoyo of the Latino Water Coalition, Kevin Severns, citrus grower and Chairman of California Citrus Mutual and Luke Serpa from the City of Clovis.

New rules are coming down every day restricting water use for Valley residents and farmers. Now you can let water officials and a key lawmaker know how you feel face-to-face.
KMPH Fox26 News and News Talk 580 KMJ will host a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, June 25th. A panel of top state water officials and lawmakers has been invited to participate and answer your questions.
You are invited to attend, in-person. The meeting will be held at the People's Church Chapel in Fresno, 7172 North Cedar Avenue. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends at 8:30. It will be broadcast live on KFRE-TV, the Valley's CW59, and on News Talk 580 KMJ. It will also stream live on KMPH.com
However, there are seats available for you to come to and participate in this important event. Seating is first-come, first-served and there is no admission charge.
