“It’s time to stop talking about water and plan for water storage. California’s future depends on reliable, clean water,” said Greg Musson, President of Gar Tootelian, Inc. “GAR takes great pride in supporting long-term water storage solutions for the health and sustainability of our Valley.”
The Rally will be an opportunity to learn more about Ag and the organizations working together on water storage solutions. It takes about 240 gallons of water to make a cell phone, 700 gallons to make a cotton shirt and 2,600 gallons to make one pair of denim jeans.
Established in 1949, GAR is a leading philanthropic leader in the Central Valley and works to promote education and awareness on the importance of valley agriculture. Partnerships include: the Fresno Grizzlies’ Farm Grown Program, the Valley Farm at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo and Valley PBS’ Valleys Gold and Education through Agriculture. The company provides water, nutrition, regulatory and crop care advice and products to more than 1,500 growers throughout the Central Valley.
