Voting for Climate Change
Can’t be a Republican because they do not understand or appreciate the ‘facts’ of climate change and the stupidity of building dams.

Hallelujah and Praise the Lord! Peter Gleick,
Mr. Gleick is a frequent apologist for NRDC (the Natural Resources Defense Council), and its long term political goals of advocating the government seizure of the water in Central Valley Rivers. One goal is to use the water for dubious environmental projects, but, more importantly, the second goal is to dry up agriculture in the Central Valley and return it to its native state of the 1800.s.
Of course, the draconian effect of these policies on the residents and communities of the Central Valley is of no concern to Mr. Gleick or NRDC because they live in the Bay Area.
a ‘scientist specializing in climate and water issues’ has solved our dilemma of who to vote for President. Can’t be a Republican because they do not understand or appreciate the ‘facts’ of climate change and the stupidity of building dams.
One can speculate about the response if the Central Valley was a different country and the elites in a neighboring country decided to appropriate our resources for their selfish goals.
Gleick: GOP presidential wannabes have no clue about drought
California’s severe drought has proven to be an opportunity to rethink the state’s complex water policies and improve its resilience. Unfortunately, it also is proving to be an opportunity to make political points.
